Lord Of The Rings : STING
UC1264 and UC2893
A magical sword crafted by Elves during the ancient days.
It was rediscovered millennia later in a trollhoard by Bilbo Baggins, who named it Sting after using it to rescue the companions of Thorin Oakenshield from the giant spiders of Mirkwood.
When it was time, Bilbo passed the Ring of Power and his trusty sword to his cousin, Frodo Baggins.
Engraved on the blade and cross guard are runes in the Elven language of Sindarin that say:
"Maegnas aen estar nin dagnir in yngyl im"
"Maegnas is my name, I am the spider's bane."
15" 420-J2 stainless steel etched blade.
Wood handgrip; 22" overall length.
Silkscreened wood plaque.
It is officially licensed and created by United Cutlery Brands.
